IPL 2019, CSK vs RCB: Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Predicted XI

Royal Challengers Bangalore will face Chennai Super Kings in the in the opening match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 in Chennai on Saturday. When it comes to RCB, they have been under-relieved to some extent in the tournament, most of whom do not have a single title under their belt despite having a big name for the season.

Next to this season, he added more quality to his side as Shimron Hetimer, Marcus Stonis and India's batsman Shivam Dubey. Along with new recruits, RCB will also welcome its famous couple - Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers - who will definitely aim to add the IPL title to their already excellent career.

A look at the pre-determined XI of the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the match against Chennai Super Kings -

Virat Kohli

The captain of the Indian cricket team has been the top performer for RCB in the last few seasons and he will be very much expected when he comes to the ground against Chennai Super Kings in the tournament.

Parthiv patel

Experienced wicket-keeper-batsman Virat Kohli will also contribute in the left-right batting combination at the top of the order. Patel is known for his stroke-play and his job will be to go after the bowlers at the powerplay.

AB de Villiers

South Africa's flamboyant batsman scored 282 runs in 10 matches at an average of 31.33 and he will improve his form with a strike rate of 162.06 in the recently concluded Mizansi Super League.

Shimron Hatmayer

West Indies International is one of the season's most exciting debut and seeing its lineage as a power hitter, RCB hopes for big things from young players.

Marcus stonis

All-rounder won Australia's Men's One Day International Player of the Year at the 2019 Australian Cricket Awards and after good outing in the ODI series against India, he would like to continue his form.

Shivam Dubey

RCB paid Rs 5 crores for Shivam Dubey in IPL auction and with a brilliant run in the Ranji Trophy season, Mumbai's 25-year-old batsman will be one of their destructive batting options in the middle order.

Washington beautiful

Sunder did not have good performance in the IPL last season, but he is a great all-rounder option for the Royal Challengers Bangalore and the management will give them some time in the beginning of the season.

Nathan Coulter-Nile

Nathan Coulter-Nile struggled to take wickets in the one-day series against India but he is well-versed with local conditions and proved to be a deadly bowler in the Indian Premier League.

Umesh Yadav

During this year's Ranji Trophy, the fast bowler in the Vidarbha was in the top form and he played a key role in getting the title of his team. RCB will be very much expected because a good show can book its place in India's World Cup 2019 team.

Yuzvendra Chahal

If you talk about the strike rate of 82 wickets and the strike rate of 18.18 at an average of 23.56, records speak for themselves and the wrist-spinner has been the mainstay of RCB's attack in the last few years.

Mohammad Siraj

Youngsters make a valuable addition to the playing eleven, and although RCB has a good bowling option in Kulwant Khairolia, Siraj is expected to be in the opening match of the season.
